Zach Wilson's Mom Kindly Requests That Everyone Stop Bugging Her Girlfriends Asking if They Banged Her Son
As I've said before, I can sincerely say, without fear of contradiction, that I take a backseat to no one when it comes to admiration for Zach Wilson's mom, Lisa Neeleman Wilson. From her fearlessness when it comes to calling out "Snapchat Whores":
... to her online presence as an Influencer to her steadfast refusal to get off the social media:
… to her unapologetic advocacy for her children, we should all have been blessed with a mom like her. And should strive to be a parent like her.
So when the reports landed that Zach's ex-girlfriend claimed he's been inviting one of her girlfriend's to climb Bone Mountain:
… needless to say, I was anxious to hear from her. Also needless to say, the wait has been excruciating. Fortunately, she has finally broken the deafening silence:
Source - Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Lisa appeared to share a PSA to those who are apparently poking around her personal life.
“My friends are freaking amazing. By the way, stop calling my friends,” Lisa said in a video facing the camera, according to Outkick.
“You’re annoying them. They’re like, ‘Lisa, these people are crazy.’ I’m like, ‘I know, I know I know.’ Yeah, stop calling my friends for real though.”
Lisa also shared a screen grab of a message that questioned the media attention. …
Lisa then responded, “Hahaha who the hell knows. That is a very good question.”
If I may be so bold as to address that last part, there are a lot of reasons for all the attention.
One, her son not only plays in the biggest media market in America, but one that has been starving for a savior since men was walking on the moon. Second, because Zach Wilson is move star handsome, with an ex-girlfriend who is not only impossibly attractive, but just publicly accused him of being a "homie-hopper" who slept with his mom's best friend. That combination of pretty and crazy attracts media attention with the gravitational force of a Black Hole.
And finally - just my opinion, mind you - it's because of Lisa. We're fascinated by her son in part because she herself is so fascinating. An athlete's mom who is just perfect for the social media age. Strong, bold, independent, indefatigable. Who has never encountered a shit she could not give from anyone. Not from Disney "maskholes" or Snapchat whores, online trolls or the media. And for sure, she's not about to be some shrinking violet, sitting back quietly while the rest of the world is blowing up all her girlfriend's phones and carpet bombing their DM's asking if they're doing the Beast With Two Backs (h/t to Othello) with her boy.
Somebody just give Lisa Wilson her own talk show, already. And buy a shirt.
