We Have Another Video Game Asshole Saying Baseball Is Easy

So we really have to do this again?

I guess it had been a little too long since some dumbass decided to go online and say how easy it would be to play professional sports. This tweet has instantly vaulted itself into contention for the most ludicrous one of these takes in my opinion, right alongside "I could luck into a home run" guy and Ninja not understanding how anyone could ever miss a 54-yard field goal.

I'm not sure if this quite tops either of those, but it's right there. And this Aydan fella is apparently also one of these professional video gamers — shoutout MRags, one of the few of such people I enjoy. What the hell are they telling these guys that makes them think what they're doing is anything akin to stepping onto a Major League Baseball field and being able to do literally anything? I respect anyone who has a skill they can perform at such a high level, until you say some dumb shit like you could hit a ho me run of a big leaguer or that baseball is easy.

Aydan, just in case this blog has found its way to your desk, here's what stuff from *college* guys looks like right now.

The fact that anyone is able to hit a baseball is probably the most remarkable thing in sports. And that's not to mention the fact that if you want to play the other half of the game, you need to be able to throw a ball 95 MPH and have a pitch that darts eight inches, too. Still sounds easy, right?

And I want to be very clear that there is not a single thing in professional sports that any rational person could describe as "easy", but if we did have to pick the easiest sport, it should be football. There are at least several guys in the NFL you can point to who may not be the most skilled players in the world but they're strong as hell and move people. Baseball should be last on that list for anyone with their head screwed on straight.

We just have to put a stop to these losers saying dumb shit like this. Here's a free one to boost ratings, MLB: add an event to All-Star Week where all the dumbs who have said baseball is easy in the year since the previous ASG have to step into the box and take an AB against one of the All-Star starters.
