And there it is. We knew this was coming, there was almost a 0% chance the test would come back negative. But what I'm really looking forward to is the Bob Baffert excuse wheel. We've already hit cancel culture. We've already hit denial turned into admitting there was something. We've already hit him telling the story of how a previous horse tested positive because someone pissed on the hay and the horse ate it. Really going for the cycle here. 

Gonna go ahead and guess that we get him blaming the lab for the test. That would really just bring it all home. It also just continues to drive home the fact that horse racing has a villain in Bob Baffert. The guy is and was the face of horse racing. There are two things that are true here. Bob Baffert sucks for the cheating and what he's done to horses with positive drug tests. Bob Baffert is the villain that horse racing desperately needs. 

It's not like we cheer against a horse because they left our favorite team or some shit like that. It's a completely different sport. But now any horse that's trained by Baffert people will have an opinion on. That creates more eyeballs on the sport that I love. I will say I would have preferred this news coming out after the Belmont since that's all everyone is going to talk about now with an 8-horse field and no chance at a Triple Crown.
