Remember How Fucking Awesome ECW Was?

When Brandon Walker and I got the invite to go down to Jacksonville for AEW Dynamite last week, we were given the opportunity to each request a couple wrestlers/talent in the company to interview.

Brandon went with MJF, Jake "The Snake" Roberts - and two guys I don't know if he's announced yet, so I'll keep kayfabe - while I went with The Young Bucks, Jon Moxley, Colt Cabana, Excalibur, and ECW legend Jerry Lynn.

Jerry Lynn, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated wrestlers in professional wrestling history. He's been one of my favorites for years now, going back to when I really dove into the ECW library and just became infatuated by his iconic feud with Rob Van Dam....

Looking back, the entire rivalry still feels fresh and innovative today, and wrestlers of this current generation (mainly the smaller guys) refer to these matches as what got them into wrestling/what kinda matches they aim to deliver waaay more often than you'd think.

I just watched a couple of their matches last night while editing these videos, and it sent me down a whole friggin ECW rabbit hole….

Jerry Lynn is now a coach/agent with All Elite Wrestling, passing down all the knowledge he's gained throughout the years, and easily one of the most beloved figures among the talent….

….and it was a pleasure getting to sit down with him and listen to his awesome stories - hope you'll listen!

P.S. My new YouTube channel for My Mom's Basement (launched this week!) is nearing 1,000 subscribers.

I'd be thrilled if we could get there by the end of the day! Please subscribe!
