Interskate 88, located in the beautiful city of Oneonta, NY, is open year-round. Their 20,000 square-foot facility has been providing family fun since 1981, and their mission is to serve Central-NY with family entertainment in a safe environment at an affordable cost.

Interskate 88 is the one the few rollers stating rinks left in the USA located in a rural small town in Oneonta, NY. Since 1981, the rink has provided entertainment, hosted birthday parties, graduation parties, business meetings, etc. and has has become the central gathering spot for the community. Countless life-long relationships were born at Interskate 88, including its now Owner/Operator Eric Nelson, son of the original owners, Fred and Donna Nelson. Eric met his wife here at Interskate and they now run the family business together. The pandemic shut the business down from March 2020- September 2020 (185 days), which severely impacted the rink's ability to stay running. Interskate 88 is the epitome of a small family-run business built from the ground up (Fred Nelson and his kids built the rink in 1981). It has been in the family for 40 years now and we hope we can continue to bring entertainment and positivity to our community.
