My name is Tim Kerwin fourth generation Irish tavern owner in middlesex nj been a family business since 1954 and bought the business from my father in 1993-old fashion tavern with food and old fashioned prices-my wife is a nurse running two dialysis units so between struggling keeping the bar open and her challenges with patients and staff getting infected and many patients dying its been extremely difficult-2019 was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer enduring surgery and chemo which ended end of February 2020 just before shutdown so being compromised but still trying to keep doors open was very scary-Name of establishment is Tim Kerwin tavern 353 bound brook rd middlesex nj 08846-have four children who help with the bar whenever they can and a very loyal staff with some employed for many years which is unusual in this business-early in shutdown we were able to feed many frontline workers thru contributions and financial support of my brother Brian in the name of Connor tab in honor of his son Connor who is severely autistic and proud to say we feed over 1500 frontline workers-but still struggling to keep the doors open so any donation would be greatly appreciated.
