Even Before Being Drafted, Chase Young Dreamed Of Sacking Tom Brady
I think this is great. Think about it this way- Chase Young was born on April 14, 1999. Tom Brady was DRAFTED on April 16, 2000. So yes, Chase was 1 years old when Tom entered the league, watched him be the greatest QB of all time while growing up, and now has a chance to go head to head with him on Saturday. This explains so much about the clip of Chase excited about being able to face Tom Brady that we saw last night
Is it "bulletin board material"? Maybe? I don't know...does Tom Brady still need bulletin board material?
Look, we all know Washington isn't expected to beat Tampa on Saturday...but I think we have a better shot than people are giving us credit for. And it's all because of this defense. We saw early season Tom have some stinkers and some bad INTs when he faced a ton of pressure. It'll all come down to if the WFT d-line can get to Tom early and often, force some turnovers, and get points off those turnovers.
We will also need a much better Alex Smith. It sucks- dude is playing on one leg. He cannot move in the pocket. It was tough to watch last night. Maybe he'll get healthier by Saturday? But obviously a 50% Alex Smith is not going to be enough to beat Tom Brady. Still though, a home playoff game. Anything can happen.
