Wild Video Of A Guy Watching His Dog Get Chased Down By A Massive Croc While Taking A Dip In The Ocean

Source - A dog swimming in the ocean was filmed frantically fleeing from a crocodile in Australia last weekend, narrowly escaping the chasing apex predator.

Footage of the close encounter was uploaded to Facebook by a woman traveling in the country and documenting the trip via a personal account called Han and Her Four Men. The clip has attracted more than 75,000 views since being published online.

The incident occured on Sunday morning close to a campaign area of Umagico, which is a coastal area in the Northern Peninsula Area Region of Queensland.

There's helpless...and then there's "watching-your-dog-get-chased-down-by-a-croc-while-you-stand-on-the-shore-with-your-hands-on your-head" helpless. As a former dog owner and current dog enthusiast, I can't even imagine how hard that must've been. That thing was b-lining towards the dog so fast it had a wake. The dummy didn't even realize it either. He was just splashing aronud happy as a clam until his owner called, which thankfully he listened to. You can tell the exact moment the dog turned around and realized he was in trouble too...(**insert Scooby-do sound)

Thank god the water was only paw deep otherwise he was fucked. 

I guess this video begs the question…would you go in after your dog? No, right? You can't. You just have to watch them get chomped then get yourself into therapy ASAP. That's all you can do. Hopefully the next time these two make their way down to the water there's a leash involved.
