Does Anybody Else Remember Rugrats On Nickelodeon Being This Terrifying?

Came across another interesting feed on the twitter over the weekend. One that really caused me to scratch my head.

The "Rugrats" I remember so fondly was made up of Tommy Pickles and his gang-

Everybody's favorite ginger Chucky-

Those wily yet always dependable twins Phil and Lil'

Even that rude little bitch Angelica had her moments. 

And of course all the parents. But all the crazy adventures that stick out to me involve Angelica messing with them, pets, teething, separation anxiety, naps - you know, all the shit babies have to deal with. 

Until scrolling through this feed I had zero recollection of all the different horror components on the show. And Thank God because I think it would have ruined me for life had I not blocked all of these from my memory.

The Mr. Friend episode was kinda fucked upon second thought-

Then come to find out that one of the show's co-writers was also the guy who did "Aeon Flux"

No offense to the Aeon Flux fans, never seen the show but seems like a mind fuck.
