Help Out This Long Island Girl Who Lost Her Leg After Being Hit By A Drunk Driver

Screen Shot 2015-03-13 at 3.20.20 PM

What’s going on KFC,

Over this past weekend one of my friends, Meg, was visiting her friends at SUNY Binghamton and on Saturday night Meg was walking with her friends minding their business when a drunk driver veered off the road and hit Meg. The drunk driver pinned Meg between their SUV and the stone railing wall. End result, she had to get one of her legs surgically removed from the knee down due to the severity of it. She’s a 20 year old girl from Long Island whose life just got turned upside down from this fucked up situation. Since the surgery, she’s somehow managed to remain in good spirit and positive, but this is just the beginning of a long long road to recovery. I’m writing to you to see if you along with the stoolies would be able to help spread word of her situation. I threw in the links of the news article as well as the gofundme page. Even if people don’t donate, the least anyone can do is go on the gofundme page and just share it on facebook or tweet it or anything to help gain support and spread word. Anything and everything is much appreciated.

P.S. on a lighter note, glad to see duncan take home the ship

Viva,

Matt

Full Story Here

Just an awful story here with really shitty luck for Meg. Her friend Matt emailed me this story and after reading her bio I saw that she was from Wantagh, NY. We got a party coming up at Mulcahy’s in Wantagh so I only thought it was right that if their town was gonna host Barstool, that the Stoolies should help give back. I actually looked into making our party a fundraiser but the bar said they already have plans to help her cause. I know the best support Barstool can offer is through its reach on the internet, so do what you guys do best. Here’s the GoFundMe page. If you can donate, awesome. If you can’t, just help spread it around. Meg and her family are probably gonna need all the help they can get so every bit counts. Unfortunately too many of us have been connected to some awful drunk driving stories, heres a chance to help a girl through one of those horror stories.
