Magazines Won't Stop Asking This Russian Olympian To Do Nude Photoshoots

Meet Angelika Timanina. I would've told you to keep her name in mind for the upcoming summer Olympics, but due to COVID-19, Angelika will have to wait a year to break out as a true Internet star.

This summer wouldn't have been Angelika's first Olympic appearance. She led the Russian synchronized swimming to glory at the 2012 London Olympics but eventually left the sport in 2016. Just too many politics. She was sick of dealing with a bunch of personalities and decided she wanted to go out on her own. Angelika picked up surfing and was looking to qualify for this years Olympics:

SOURCE-Such has been Timanina’s ascent that she landed a place on the Russian surfing team for the Tokyo Games this summer, where the sport was set to make its Olympics bow.

It's not that big of a deal for Angelika, as her revenue streams are still popping.

“I wanted to become a media personality so I could make money from it. It worked. Now my main income is advertising shoots and Instagram.”

The Russian dreams of becoming the swimming version of another Russian blonde, Maria Sharapova. However, that has limited her upside in terms of cold hard cash. We all know the name of the game these days. It's nude shoots and OnlyFans subscriptions. However, Angelika has gone against the easy money for something bigger:

“Of course [I get asked to take my clothes off]. But my goal from the very beginning was different.

“I wanted to become like the ‘Maria Sharapova’ of synchronized swimming, cover the luxury sector, brands like Dior and Armani.

“But luxury brands will never work with a girl who has done naked shoots for the cover of Playboy,” Timanina said.

I find this to be an inspiring story. We live in a world of instant gratification. Instead of being told that getting to the top is going to take a lot of work, we are sold "get rich quick" schemes. Angelika could've went the way others have went. $50 a month for her OnlyFans and she wouldn't have to work another day in her life. She has a bigger goal though: Dior and Armani. I, for one, am cheering for her.

P.s. Can you imagine the Russian oil money czar's that are in her DMs? Her DMs may be worth over billliooonnnsssss of dollars.
