Yup. That's pretty much all the evidence I needed to see. When Kovy first came back over to the NHL after spending 5 years in the KHL, I figured the only way he'd be able to hop right back and keep up with today's game would be if he was just a total Russian Gas Station. Keep him fueled up like an oil tanker. But maybe I was wrong to assume that.
Because when you've got workouts like this to keep you motivated, I guess you don't need to be robotically engineered like Ivan Drago to keep going at his age. That's just au naturale, folks. And you know what? Great for Kovy. I'm always a sucker for a comeback story and after it looked like he was cooked in LA, I'm glad to see the turnaround since getting moved to Montreal (and I guess Washington, too). Guy deserves another chance at the Cup. What a life, what a wife.
