Mr. Kraft and His Ladyfriend Owned the Oscars After-Party Scene

Source - Dana Blumberg, a doctor in New York City, has been dating Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots.

But he was first seen in public with Blumberg in June of 2019, as reported by Page Six, when they attended the French Open in Paris together.

Blumberg is 45 and Kraft is 78. ...

Last night Kraft brought his arm candy out with him to the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

And - Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is making headlines with his offseason move. In January, team owner Robert Kraft said he wants Brady to remain in New England. “I love the young man like he’s part of my family,” he said. During the Oscar bash in Hollywood, Robert Kraft talked about his star quarterback. He doubled down on the sentiment.

On the red carpet at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party, the Patriots owner ... [w]hen asked if TB12 will stay or go when his contract ends in March, Kraft said, “You know what I want.” ...

The Patriots owner looked really elegant in a black suit. The 78-year-old completed the outfit with black glitter Nike sneakers. He was accompanied by Dana Blumberg. His girlfriend wore a long Alexander McQueen gown. ...

“I’ve been friends with Elton since I bought the [former Foxboro Stadium] out of bankruptcy back in the ’80s,” Kraft said. “He did the first concert there in 1988 and that’s when we became friends.” The Patriots owner also added that John is a “huge Patriots fan.”

Enough of that stuff about Mr. Kraft wanting Brady back. We've talked about that plenty. This is not a time to be talking football or business or the football business. This is about acknowledging the celebrity status of Hollywood's new elite power couple.

Imagine being in Elton John's sequined shoes for one second. After years of trying, you finally succeeded in getting your own biopic produced and into theaters. It was a critical and commercial success. You win another Oscar for Best Original Song. Your first since writing the score for "The Lion King." You're at your extremely successful annual fundraiser, alongside your collaborator for the last 50 years, the songwriting legend Bernie Taupin. And the moment Mr. Kraft and Dana Blumberg walk in, you are no longer the biggest deal in the room.

I'm sure it's no big deal to Sir Elton. As the man said, they've been friends a long time. Elton once did a private show for friends and family of the Krafts for his and Myra's wedding anniversary. I know people who were invited. And while I wasn't one of them, I'm not about to go all Dan Shaughnessy over it, the way he's still bitter over not getting asked to some breakfast 20 years ago. No, this isn't about me. This is about how yet another Oscar night was taken over by the brilliant businessman who turned a cardboard box company into an empire. And how he bestrode the narrow Hollywood world like a colossus once again.

I mean, put aside Elton John for a second. Imagine being Rene Zellweger. You're riding high after winning your second Oscar. Only to find you're not the most glamorous and celebrated blonde on the after party circuit. Or to be Brie Larson. You got your win a couple of years ago for "Room," you had a role in the highest grossing film of all time, "Avengers: Endgame," you absolutely owned the red carpet in this dress.

... and in an instant you go from a Hollywood 9.5 to a Des Moines 5 because the Good Doctor Blumberg just walked in. Because compared to her Alexander McQueen, that thing you're wearing looks like an unmade bed.

Business mogul. Ruler of his own Dynasty. Philanthropist. Friend to the celebrated entertainers and world leaders alike. Lover of beautiful, talented, learned medical professionals. And now one half of show business's "It" Couple. There is nothing this man cannot do.
