This Cycling "Activist" Who's Raising Awareness For Bikers By Pedaling Directly Into Oncoming Traffic Is My Favorite Person Of All Time
Make fun of this guy if you want, but I love him. I love anyone who's committed to a cause and willing to die for it. It doesn't matter what that cause is, if you're willing to give your life, you'll have my support. This guy is the perfect example. He's been to the hospital not once, not twice, not thrice, but FOUR times and he's still out there doing his thing. Why? Because he HAS THE RIGHT to goddamnit!
My favorite part of the story is that he's in Jersey City. Not in Manhattan where everyone bikes everywhere. Jersey City. That and he rides one these so he can put his dogs in the front.
Who are both clearly embarrassed by the whole situation...
I just feel bad that his crusade is going to end in tragedy. He's either going to get maimed by a car or try and "educate" the wrong person. Which if he survives, he'll wear as a badge of honor. The poor guy has already had a knife pulled on him and that didn't slow him down. I can't imagine anything else will. Best of luck with everything, Ollie. We're rootin' for ya!
