Guy FieriCon: Diners Drive Ins and Drunks
On Saturday, October 19, Austin, Texas is celebrating Guy FieriCon. We don’t know much about the event other than the fact that people are supposed to dress like Guy while bar hopping, and that the event is free outside of the infinity drinks you pay for at the bars on your own. Considering the fact that most of the Hard Factor guys live in Austin, and all are fat, thus needing to put in minimal effort to look like the Mayor of Flavortown, and that we day drink several times a month, that’s more than enough information for us. We will be there, with a camera.
Also, later in the year we will be going to the other Hard Factor host’s hometown of Reno, Nevada, to participate in Santa Crawl. For those of you unfamiliar, It’s the same thing as Guy FieriCon except on a much larger scale and obviously in December. So just thousands and thousands of people dress up like Santa Clause and get piss your pants while still awake drunk, crawling the Reno, Nevada downtown scene. Hell on earth type stuff. Last year over 100 Santas got thrown in the back of cop cars, and hauled off to the drunk tank, so we will be sure to bring a camera to that one as well. I’m sure the Reno cops get a ton of “well I’m Kris Kringle of course” before getting vomit launched on their boots, and that’s when the cuffs come out.
Now, we are probably going to search the internet and go down a rabbit hole of irreverent what we call bar hopping and the other side of the pond calls pub crawl, events. Have a great fucking weekend.
