Max Muncy Dominated Madison Bumgarner On Several Separate Occasions This Afternoon

Madison Bumgarner gave up a home run. That in and of itself doesn’t make headlines. A baseball pitcher gave up a dinger to a professional hitter. Happens legitimately every day during the season and sometimes even in the offseason in separate leagues across this great world of ours. But Madison Bumgarner did not seem to be able to appreciate this particular blast he gave up to Max Muncy. Not one bit. To the point where it looked like he was going to fight him with his fists before Muncy even reached second base. But this didn’t just end in the game. Oh no. Verbal barbs ensued via the press, much to the shock of everyone involved, where Muncy delivered this death blow.

I know the rules of baseball wouldn’t allow for it, but I think Muncy should get credit for at least one more home run here. Granted, there is a massive flaw to Muncy’s logic. Because if Bumgarner got off the mound, continued to the outfield, scaled the wall, dove into McCovey’s Cove, retried the ball, and brought it back, I guarantee Muncy and everyone else involved would watch such an event unfold. Thereby proving himself to be a liar. Either way, his point that the ball landed in the ocean is surely enough to fill Madison Bumgarner with a murderous rage. I don’t know when the next time Bumgarner is slated to pitch against the Dodgers, nor will I look it up, but I can assure you he will go Muncy hunting. Hopefully with a baseball, potentially with a crossbow, only time will tell which.
