This Insta Model Who Defaced a Statue For Clout Gives Me Hope That The End Of The World Is Coming
One Instagram model has been slammed on social media for defacing a 200-year-old statue in Poland, reportedly in hopes of gaining more followers.
In recent days, influencer Julia Slonska has been blasted for a 6-second video in which she knocks the nose off an angel statue in Warsaw’s Swiss Valley Park, Metro reports.
In the clip, the woman makes eye contact with the camera and knocks the nose off the statue with a few swift strokes of a hammer. Cackling laughter can be heard in the background, and the clip ends; the footage has since been viewed more than 5,000 times on YouTube.
Awesome stuff here. Really gives you hope for the new wave of teenagers that are about to become leaders of the free world. I mean if you’re a 17 year old Instagram model and you’re given the opportunity to deface a 200 year old statue for likes then you have to do it every time. That’s just social media 101. Slonska was trying to get her clout game up, can you blame her? How else would you like her to do it? Post more pictures of herself? Make a funny, original video? Help an old person cross the street and have her friend film it? Nah, those are all too time consuming. Just find a really old statue that people like in the center of town, take a hammer, and start whacking away as you laugh your ass off. Clicks for DAYS. Fool proof plan. What could go wrong?
It appears someone alerted Julia that what she did may have been in the wrong and she has since released a statement.
“I’m so stupid. I will not say what was driving me, why I did it, because it is more of a private affair, but I really want to apologize to everyone,”
