Brie Larson Going From The Au Pair In The League To The Universe's Most Powerful Superhero is a Wild Come Up

Last night I was flipping around the TV guide when I came across 21 Jump Street (immediate click). That’s when I remembered the young actress who played Jonah Hill’s love interest is….BRIE LARSON!

I mean she looks like a completely different person here and yes Eric that’s how aging and time works. Well, I was quickly reminded that Brie was also the famous Au Pair in The League.

The guys had to convince Sofia that Brie’s “big fat meat earlobes” made her unattractive. Eventually Pete sleeps with her and Rafi moves in with Ruxin to stop her from dating Pete. This scene is fucking incredible.

That leads to Rafi and the Au Pair trying to ‘Golden Gate’ Pete. I can’t find the video but it ends up with her sleeping with Rafi.

Well…somehow that Brie Larson is now the Marvel Universe’s strongest superhero.

Insane. Now obviously I know she won Best Actress for ‘Room’ but in my mind she’s gained so much more fame from being a part of The Avengers. Is that a hot take? I don’t think so. This is the biggest movie of all time and she plays a pretty solid role in it, without giving away spoilers. In the next phase, whenever that is, I imagine she’ll be doing a lot of heavy lifting, in terms of being the face of the studio.

I’ve always had a thing for Brie, even back in the 21 Jump Street days. I also loved her in The Gambler with Mark Wahlberg. All my friends would give me shit, saying she had the most plain, normal looking face possible. Fuck that noise. I’ll admit she’s not the hottest girl in the world, but I don’t know, she just does it for me. What a come up for my girl.
