Good News! Some Kid Who "Doesn't Have His Dick In His Hand" Knows How To Fix The NCAA!

So Donnie tweeted this this at me earlier and tbh I wasn’t really sold until the dick in his hand part. Now I’m ready to connect him with Dave. ASAP. I may just face time them at the same time. I need answers.

(Sidenote: Donnie told me that he’ll have more details next week on the case above. I honestly can’t wait. If this is the guy that has the answer AND he wants Dave (aka Barstool) to be the first to do it? I’ll stan for him, sure.)

This all came about because Dabo Swinney is now the highest paid coach in college football making $93 million over 10 years. People lost their minds over Jimbo getting $75 mill/10 years from A&M. And now we’re talking almost $20 million more. Unreal. So of course it sparked the ‘should athletes be paid?’ argument.

In all honesty, Dabo is worth every dollar. He may be the only guy that has Nick Saban semi-figured out. But still. We’re now breaching ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS to coach student-athletes in football.

Yet… don’t you dare let the athletes get paid for their signatures, NCAA. DON’T YOU DARE!

But back to the dick-definitely-not-in-his-hand-guy, I don’t believe that anybody has the 1000% fool proof answer to how to fix the “pay the players” argument. I sure don’t. I think you start letting them make money off their likeness and go from there. (I’m a broken record).

It’s a hamster wheel argument that we will all keep running on until the NCAA dies the fiery death that it should. Because don’t forget that the NCAA lets guys like Tate Martell and Justin Fields transfer because they want to be QB1 and not sit on the pine, but won’t let guys like Brock Hoffman move to be closer to his mom with a brain tumor. Slimy mother fuckers.

“Just a mere flesh wound” – NCAA, probably.

At the end of the day, the NCAA stinks out loud, Dabo Swinney is a RICH man and I can’t wait to hear about this kid’s theory who slid into Donnie’s DMs.
