I Just Cannot Imagine A Scenario Where The Redskins Have A Super Bowl Parade
I don’t even hate seeing all this Super Bowl parade coverage today. Gronk is as close to Ovi as it gets, and both guys were absolutely built for parades. Hopefully we can see one more out of Ovi before he hangs them up, but for right now we can settle for Gronk banging Camille on a duck boat
But while watching this coverage it hit me like a ton of bricks- we might never see a a Redskins parade. I can’t fathom a scenario where the Skins throw a Super Bowl parade. It’s so unrealistic and just doesn’t make logical sense. Because while every team tries to get better, tries to emulate what the Patriots are doing, the Skins are still the Skins. We’re still owned by Dan Snyder. And he’s still making boneheaded decisions, year in and year out. He’s still employing Bruce Allen, known league-wide as a joke, to run football operations. Even Doug Williams is nothing more than a glorified yes-man. Anyone Snyder brings in to make changes gets fired within a year. He runs as close to a communist organization as possible, and has for 20 years.
Bruce Allen recently claimed the Redskins are “close”.
WHAT? It still blows my mind he said that. Brady just won his 6th Lombardi and Bruce Allen thinks we are “close” after missing the playoffs yet again? How close does Vegas think we are?
2nd worst odds to win the Super Bowl. But yeah, tell me again how “close” we are, you asshole.
I hope one day Dan Snyder comes to his senses and decides to run the team the way winning teams operate. But his ego is too big and his penis too small to ever change. It sucks but it’s the sad reality.
