Report: Megyn Kelly Is OUT At NBC, Possibly Will Still Be Paid Entire $69 Million Contract
Daily Mail - Multiple sources have confirmed to DailyMail.com that Megyn Kelly is out at NBC.
This move comes just 48 hours after the embattled host made remarks in which she defended blackface on Today.
Kelly tried to deal with the scandal by delivering a tearful apology on-air and welcoming two black panelists to discuss the fraught and horrifying history of the practice, but it did no good.
‘Megyn Kelly is done. She is not ever coming back,’ said an NBC executive with knowledge of the situation.
‘We are just working out timing of the announcement but mark my work – she is gone and will never be seen on NBC live again.’
The source then added: ‘Here’s the worst part – her deal is a non-break deal – so she walks away with all that money. It’s disgusting and heads should roll here because of it.’

Damn. While nobody wants to be fired, Megyn Kelly kinda won this battle huh? Defending black face seems to be the best career decision she’s made in years. Probably had her agent go over her contract with a fine-tooth comb and realized she could say anything she wanted and still get paid. You gotta think NBC execs were none too pleased with her saying black face is cool, especially when nobody was watching the Megyn Kelly hour of the Today Show to begin with. And really, what did NBC expect? Her to just come out with some soft takes? Helllll no. She built her life on the hottest of takes and was probably salivating just waiting for Halloween to come around so she could paint her Mona Lisa. She did heroically apologize, but I suppose that was too little, too late.
So now apparently she gets to keep her entire $69 million (Lol, get it? 69? Like the thing where you sit at home and masturbate and cry while thinking about your high school girlfriend? Classic.) contract. Could life possibly be better for her? She should just disappear for a bit. Go to the islands and drink out of coconuts all day. Learn how to kite surf. Keep a notepad of the hottest of takes and then come back in a year ready to go full steam ahead for the presidential campaigns.
I’m sure NBC will try to keep some if not all of that money, but from the initial report, it’s all hers. Her agent is going to be getting an extra big fruit basket for Christmas this year, that’s for sure.
