Tito Ortiz Says Chuck Liddell Can't Even Put A Sentence Together Then Immediately Struggles Greatly With Putting A Sentence Together

Yesterday, the very first press conference for Golden Boy Promotions’ first MMA venture – Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz II – took place in Las Vegas. There were no streams to watch it live, and it was run like a traditional boxing presser, so Golden Boy’s really committed to making this just as nostalgic to 2006 as possible, but there was one PHENOMENAL little tidbit to come out of one of Tito’s post-presser interviews seen above.

The interviewer asks Tito Ortiz how he responds to Chuck Liddell claiming that Tito is jealous of Chuck, that the Iceman “stole his thunder”, and Tito, in the most Tito way possible, answers…

“Jealous of him? This guy can’t even put a fuckin’ sentence together man, are you kidding me right now? He’s reaching for – he’s reaching for those grapes. He’s trying to make his wine, and the wine’s already soundin’ like a violin with that cheese and wine…um…we’ll see on November 24th.”

THERE HE IS! THAT’S THE TITO ORTIZ WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE! THIS BIG DUMB BUFFOON JUST CAN’T GET OUT OF HIS OWN WAY ONCE HE OPENS HIS MOUTH!

First he downgraded Chuck from “The Iceman” to “The Snowflake” (sick way to own Chuck AND the libs), then he told ‘em he’s trying to make wine that’s already soundin’ like a violin with that cheese and wine. Boom mothafuckin’ ROASTED!

P.S. I’m currently stuck at the Cincinnati airport waiting for my flight back to New York – which is delayed – meaning I’ll likely be in the sky for the entirety of GGG/Canelo II tonight which is devastating. So don’t expect live coverage of that fight from me. I know Large will have a full recap of the fight up at some point, and maybe Dave or Chief or somebody will throw something up immediately after it’s over, but it’s now out of my reach. They all know more boxing than I anyway, though, so maybe it’s for the best!
