Wake Up With An NBA Top 10: Allen Iverson

Morning everybody. Today I bring you a Top 10 that you’ll probably watch no fewer than three times. If you’re like me, and your formative NBA watching years were the mid 90s to early 2000s that meant a couple things. First, it means you were watching a shit ton of shitty Celtics basketball, but you were also heavily impacted by the best pound for pound player of my generation, Allen Iverson. Sure it pains me to talk like this about a Sixer, but when Iverson was at the height of his powers, he was THAT DUDE. If you loved basketball you loved everything about Iverson. I remember in that epic playoff series against TOR waking up and immediately looking in the Globe at the box score since my brother never let me on our one computer since he was probably in some bullshit chatroom on AOL. At this time in the NBA there really wasn’t anybody like Iverson, and to be honest we really haven’t seen a player like him since.
As a reminder, if there’s a Top 10 you want to see moving forward just list it in the comments and I’ll try to work it in. But for now, enjoy the countdown and have yourself a kickass Wednesday.
