Would You Pay More Money To See Zion vs UNC Or The Super Bowl?

[ESPN] - If you’re interested in squeezing into Cameron Indoor Stadium to watch the first installment of the legendary rivalry in 2019, you’ll have to spend $2,500, the price of the cheapest available ticket. That’s just shy of the $2,674 you would have paid on Jan. 27 for the cheapest available ticket to the Feb. 3 Super Bowl, per Kyle Zorn, a marketing strategist for secondary ticket seller TickPick.

In the time of that quote last night to this morning, ticket prices are now more expensive than the Super Bowl. And I’ll tell you what. People sure seem to want to see Zion.

This is more than just Duke/UNC.

“As far as Duke this year, I haven’t seen anything like this,” Zorn said.

It makes sense. This is the one time that Duke is hosting UNC. It’s the one time Duke fans will get to see Zion (and RJ and Reddish and Tre Jones) in this rivalry at home. Throw in the fact that Cameron is the size of a high school gym and ticket prices are going to go wild.

Here’s what I bet you won’t see though:

So with ticket prices essentially the same, what would you rather see. Zion at home against UNC in February vs the Super Bowl?
