We Now Have Video Of Nevada Players Trying To Storm The Utah State Locker Room

So more and more footage is coming out after the Utah State/Nevada game. It was a bizarre scene as Utah State ended up beating Nevada to most likely put them on the right side of the bubble. But, after the game is where shit really picks up.

There was this video right after the game:

Now it came out that it wasn’t necessarily the court storm that caused this but rather a Utah State assistant coach saying stuff in the handshake line. Here’s the thing. Yes, the court storm probably didn’t help. But, something happened. Jordan Caroline is as nice of a dude as it comes and that reaction shows something was said or done to him. You don’t react like that just over a loss (unless you’re a Knick).

But, this? This is a wild scene. You can see Caroline – likely seeing or hearing Utah State and trying to go after them. His team follows him to a degree with Trey Porter somewhat holding them back before joining in the chase. Lowkey the reaction that’s the best is 5-star Jordan Brown. You can see him sort of shrug like he doesn’t feel like doing this then run. Makes me laugh every time:

Now, obviously you shouldn’t try to storm an opposing locker room. There’s no doubt about that. But, at the same time something has to happen to help get opposing teams off the floor in a better way.

I still don’t understand why we do the handshake line. Let’s get rid of that. Make it like the NBA or NFL or whatever where guys can wait around on the court and say what’s up to whoever they want. If they want to go to the locker room let them. Handshake lines are pretty pointless and it’s a step to avoid this.

Either way this story continues to be pretty crazy. The MWC came out and said they didn’t find anything wrong with the court storm so it’s up to Utah State/Nevada to hand out punishments. I don’t think anyone on Nevada should be punished based on what we know. I also don’t think we’ll ever find out the true story of what was said/done between the two teams.

At least they didn’t use a secret tunnel like the Rockets.
