Topps Accidentally Referred To Indians Pitcher Shane Bieber As "Justin Bieber" On His Trading Card

Classic mix-up! But when will Topps start to listen? Shane's players weekend jersey clearly said he is NOT JUSTIN.

MLB: AUG 26 Indians at Royals

Just a couple weeks ago, this would've been an egregious error on Topps' behalf as Justin Bieber is perhaps the most recognizable pop star in the entire world, while Shane Bieber was the measly #5 starter for the Cleveland Indians. Well now that Shane has won the All-Star Game MVP and then proceeded to be absolutely lights out in his last couple starts (including a complete game win yesterday), this mix-up doesn't seem so bad. The question can now be asked: who is more popular??

But regardless, it was still a mistake and the proper apologies needed to be handed down, which they were.

Hmmmm…where have I heard that before? Oh, I remember..

Funny joke! Am I too woke for thinking this may have been on purpose? No one has thought about baseball cards in a million years, and now they're in the news again. Either way, this was good enough for Justin to chime in from the clouds.

Okay, jokes over folks. If the season ended today, the Indians would be hosting the one game playoff, and I think we'd throw Shane Bieber out there. Let's make it very clear that there are NO similarities between Shane and Justin.

Well, except their last name.
