Terrifying Footage Of California Being Overtaken By Mudslides

Source -  At least 48 people are missing after the mudslides that ravaged Santa Barbara County this week, county spokeswoman Susan Klein-Rothschild said.

Rescuers searched piles of debris for survivors after tons of mud, trees and boulders swept away homes in Southern California this week, killing 17 people.
Heavy rains sent rivers of mud tumbling down hillsides Tuesday, demolishing homes in the affluent seaside community of Montecito weeks after a massive fire charred the area last month.
Scary stuff. You hate to see it, especially after last month’s wild fires destroyed over sixty-thousand acres across the state. The dry, exposed land combine with torrential downpours triggered massive mudslides across the Santa Barbara area. So far seventeen people are confirmed dead with over forty-eight missing. That number is expected to rise. I attached some of the footage/photos below. Natural disasters don’t discriminate, even Oprah was affected.

But it’s not just gazillionaires, every day people have had their lives turned upside down. If you have a few extra bucks you can donate here. It’s one thing after another in California, thoughts and prayers to those affected.
