An Upset Mommy Called The News Because a Teacher Wrote 'WTF is This?' On Her Son's Homework

BAY COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida teacher didn’t give her student an “F.” Instead, she wrote “WTF” on a paper to signal he would be getting a 0.

Melinda Smith says she was shocked when her son handed her his science homework and “WTF is this?” was written across the top.

“Just seeing ‘WTF,’ what is this? You know, basically is this there’s no credit, it wasn’t anything about not getting the credit, it was more so the language about what the writing to students. That was very inappropriate and not acceptable for a teacher whatsoever,” Smith said.

So the other day, I took a little heat for blogging on a Tuesday about Tim Tebow breaking up a fight in a Triple A baseball game on the previous Sunday. My bad, I’m not the Mets or Yankees blogger, and apparently 3 days later isn’t enough time for those guys to find a story. But anyways, I am the teacher blogger, except when sex is involved because that’s Jerry’s world. And as a teacher of FOUR years, I am utterly DISGUSTED by what has taken place here. Not by the teacher, not by the student, but by the parent that went to the freaking news over this. This mother is not happy one bit.

“I think for sure she needs to be reprimanded. I believe that something should be placed in her file,” Smith continued.

Ohhh no. Not the file. Anything but the file! Shut up, Mrs. Smith. Let me tell you something about the education industry. You normal folks complain when you have to watch your own kids for a couple hours. Could you imagine watching 30 kids for 8 hours a day? And then having to deal with constantly complaining parents like you. Yeah, tensions run a little high. I honestly think that the criminal justice system should do away with the death penalty and just make those convicts be substitute teachers for the rest of their life.

Look, the fact of the matter is that some kids are BAD. Not all kids, but there are some rotten ones. And I can 1000% guarantee you that this kid that got a “WTF is this?” on his paper was one of them. There is no way that he gave his best effort and got a WTF. Teachers don’t operate like that. But after 9 months of dealing with his bullshit, I’m sure this teacher was fed up. And instead of siding with the teacher and giving her son a life lesson to always give effort, mommy ran right to the news and tattle-taled. Hey mommy, that’s not going to set him up to handle his own problems in the future. And when he messes up big time in college because he’s never had to deal with his own problems, I want that to go in your file!! Smh….calling the news over a homework assignment? 100% fact she has a haircut like this…
