Absolutely Crazy Brawl Breaks Out in a FIBA Qualifying Game Between Australia and the Philippines Where Thon Maker Lost His Mind And Started Flying Kicking People

HOLY SHIT!!!

A lot of times when the term brawl gets thrown around it’s a lot of pushing and shoving and some “hold me backs,” but not this one. This was complete mayhem all over the place. We’ve got Malace in the Palace 2.0 going on here between Australia and the Philippines.

It all started with this brutal elbow that followed an unnecessary shove from a player on the Philippines. That’s when basketball got thrown out the window and this became a war.

Milwaukee Bucks center Thon Maker started flying kicking the fuck out of some people. It looks like he takes out at least three guys out when he jumps into the scrum. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this move in a sports brawl, but it looks like Thon has been watching some UFC lately.

Andray Blatche destroyed this guy on Australia with a punch to the back of the head. I assume that guy never woke up. When he was still in the league Blatche was not a man to be trifled with. That’s not a man I want to be messing with while all hell is breaking loose.

I mean this guy threw a fucking chair right at the back of some guy’s head. It looks he’s a fan too. Unreal.

I’m pretty sure this guy is a photographer and he’s laying this haymaker on a player. I’m not sure there was as clean a punch in the entire Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.

Thirteen players were ejected — four from Australia, including Maker, and nine from the Philippines. The game actually continued, with the Philippines forced to play with just three players. When Philippines captain Gabe Norwood fouled out, it left just one player available for the Philippines. That’s when the game was stopped, resulting in an 89-53 victory for Australia.

I’m shocked they even tried to play the game after, but 13 guys in total were thrown out. Eventually a Philippines player fouled out and left the team with one player which caused the game to get called in the 3rd quarter. Here I am enjoying a nice, relaxing Monday before a vacation week and we’ve got hell breaking loose in a FIBA World Cup qualifying game.
