Sure, the NHL is considered one of the 4 major leagues in America but let’s not kid ourselves here. It’s nowhere near as popular as the NFL. It’s nowhere near as popular as the NBA. I think there’s hope that it would one day jump the MLB but that’s just wishful thinking. Especially when those cock sucker eSports fans are saying that their shitty league will be on par with the NHL within 2 years. I’m no fool. I realize where the NHL stands and it’s videos like this that make me perfectly okay with that. What these guys are able to do on the ice while moving at that speed is beyond incredible. Hockey is the perfect combination of creativity and chaos all in one. It’s a beautiful marriage between grace and grind. It’s a man, two blades of steel, a stick and a puck creating something out of nothing and it’s fucking art. You can’t watch something like this without getting at least a little romantic about it.
