Mike Reiss And Isaiah Thomas Standing Next To Each Other Is Legitimately Stunning

First I want to say that I’m a huge, huge Mike Reiss guy (that makes one of us! I kid, I kid). He’s the best NFL reporter at ESPN and everyone who’s ever interacted with him says he’s an even better guy. So I’ve got nothing but love for my man Mike.

But this picture? Holy toledo! There aren’t exactly newsies running around town today, waving papers, screaming “EXTRA, EXTRA! MIKE REISS IS A PRETTY SHORT HUMAN! READ ALL ABOUT IT!” This is something we’ve all known for quite some time. Mike Reiss is little.

But he’s always interviewing and covering giants, so it never really set in just how short he is. Do you guys remember the picture of him and Solder?

It’s a funny pic, no doubt, but it doesn’t really drive home just how short Reiss is because everyone looks tiny next to Solder. It would be like standing next to a redwood and being like, “Lol! This thing is so much taller than me! Crazy!”

But Isaiah Thomas is human sized. In fact, he’s a short human. Thomas is listed at 5’9″ so realistically he’s probably about 5’7″ and the dude is dwarfing our boy Reiss. He’s truly head and shoulders taller than Mike Reiss, and Isaiah is as tall as a high school freshman whose doctor keeps assuring him that he’ll hit his growth spurt soon. Thomas has to bend down to hear him in an interview like they’re in different zip codes or something. It’s a truly remarkable side by side.

But I’m just making observations here, I’m not making fun of Mike. I wouldn’t do that because I like him.
