Grading the Newest Sex Scandal Teacher
Oklahoma – The family of a schoolboy who had sex with a teacher has been paid $125,000.
An Oklahoma school district handed over the huge sum to settle a lawsuit claiming it tried to cover up what had happened.
Former teacher Jennifer Caswell, 31, was sentenced to ten years in prison following revelations she had slept with the 15-year-old in 2015.
At the time, she appeared on Dr Phil and said … ‘He came in, I was working on things. He kept coming closer to me and I would walk away to another part, another area of the classroom.
‘He just walked up to me and kissed me, and it kinda went from there.’
Caswell said the student was in her classroom for around two hours, but the sexual activity lasted around ‘ten to 15 minutes’.
Probed on exactly how the sex happened, she explained: ‘I was walking around the classroom straightening up the desks and, I guess it was standing up. I kept on saying ‘no, no we can’t do this’. I mean, he wasn’t forcing me, I could have easily just walked out of my classroom, but I didn’t. But I was resisting, because I knew it was wrong.’
Let’s get this out of the way. I acknowledge that while the $125,000 payment to the student just happened, the classroom sex is not the “Newest.” I don’t care. This is my world. I do what I want. Here I’m like Nietzsche’s Superman, living in a consequence-free environment and rules do not apply to me. Besides, this business of the school district paying the kid six figures to bang a hot teacher like Jennifer Caswell is the real story.
We do not want this. Sex with your teacher is supposed to be a beautiful moment in the life of a teenage boy. A rite of passage. A natural part of growing up. Not some tawdry thing the lawyers can come along and ruin. I respect attorneys and have had some in the family. But this is the kind of thing that gives them a bad reputation. It’s tough enough for a little minx like Ms. Caswell to let a kid bone her for 15 minutes in the classroom while worrying about losing her job. If she’s going to have the taxpayers footing the bill for lawsuits and legal fees on her mind, you’ll never get a decent SST off the ground. So we need to come together as a society and remind ourselves that getting your rocks off and then having your teacher go on Dr. Phil and brag about your prowess to the world should be its own reward. Let’s leave the greed out of it.
The Grades:
Looks: Such a no-brainer I won’t waste words.
Grade: A-
Moral Compass/Bad Judgment: There are other details that didn’t include earlier. Like Jennifer telling Dr. Phil they did it standing up. And the kid telling investigators they banged in her car and her house. Which means his following her around and wearing down her resistance game is very, very strong. But she had me at “it kinda went from there.”
Grade: A
Intangibles: You get to do a dimepiece like Jennifer Caswell, and even after the lawyers take their cut you get the price of a Mercedes Benz, courtesy of the good people of Oklahoma. The American Dream.
Grade: B+
Overall: A-. Now we’ve got 2015 stories coming back to us. There is no let up in 2017.
