It's Time For People To Stop Sleeping On Raisin Bran
Did you wake up this morning knowing that you'd be reading the most correct cereal take of all time today? Probably not. But it's a little Tuesday afternoon miracle for all you boys and girls at home because I'm here to provide it to you.

IT'S TIME FOR EVERYBODY TO ADMIT THAT RAISIN BRAN IS AN ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS TREAT AND GIVE IT THE RESPECT IT DESERVES
Now before we keep going, I should mention that I'm not talking about any specific brand of Raisin Bran. No free ads. I'm just talking about?any ol' bowl of straight up bran and raisins swimming in a pool of milk. If any specific cereal company wants to do a little business then maybe we can pimp out your version of raisin bran to the masses. But until then this is just your standard bran talk.
Anyway, I feel like we've been conditioned for years to automatically associate raisin bran with old people. As if it was just some poor people shit that your grandparents were stuck eating during the Depression. Now I don't know who's to blame for that. Honestly, I think it might be old people themselves who were just trying to save all the bran for themselves. Regardless, the public image of Raisin Bran has taken a serious hit over the years. You check out anybody's "Cereal Power Rankings" and almost nobody will have raisin bran anywhere near the list. Hell, it never even gets an honorable mention. It's always the same old Cinnamon Toast Crunch and?Froot Loops and Capn'n Crunch and Fruity Pebbles at the top of those lists. Don't get me wrong. Those are all fine cereals. But they're what I would consider sprinters. Good for a short amount of time but you put them up against a marathon cereal like raisin bran and they don't stand a chance. It may not be a sexy cereal by any stretch of the imagination. But every bite consists of?a perfect balance of tastes, textures, nutritional value and sustenance. Many times when you eat cereals you are still left with a hunger in your belly no matter how big the bowl. Not with raisin bran, however. Which also makes it the most fiscally responsible cereal on the market as you're not ripping through an entire box in one sitting.
Am I here to argue that raisin bran is the best cereal in the world??Not intentionally but I understand how you could?come away from this blog?feeling that it is. What I?am?here to say is just that it's time for people to finally feel safe admitting to the world that they love raisin bran. It is 2017, after all, and nobody should be shamed for their cereal preferences. Especially not when it's a cereal as delicious and nutritious as RB.
