Anthony Rendon Gave All Credit To His Teammates After His 6/6, 10 RBI Game

What a lad. Has a historic day at the plate, going 6/6 with 3 HRs and 10 RBI, and wouldn’t say one thing like “yeah, that was pretty cool”. He downplayed the entire situation, even going as far to say the game kinda went on for too long. He probably had dinner reservations with wifey and was kind of annoyed that he had to go hit a HR off of a Mets backup catcher. But that’s classic Anthony Rendon. The ultimate team-first guy. The Nats just put a 23 spot on the board and all he could say is “our pitching was, you know, just amazing”. I absolutely love it. Most guys who just punished the Mets and made them say uncle would be running around like Happy Gilmore after sinking a putt, but Rendon just keeps on keeping on. April is a long way from October, and he knows that all too well.
