Stadium Eats With JJ: Trenton Thunder First Pitch And Pork Roll

The Trenton Thunder were nice enough (tricked into) letting me come out and throw the first pitch last Sunday so I took the trip to Jersey. Since New Jersey is the Pork Roll capital of the world, I had to eat some and throw a little ice cream on top. Overall it’s a great stadium with lots of activities and at the end of the video you get to see me get hit with tennis balls from the crowd.

Also, if you live in the area The Thunder are having a fundraiser for the NY and Philly Police Departments.

The Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, are proud to welcome the Philadelphia and New York Police Departments to ARM & HAMMER Park on Wednesday, August 10 at 7pm to play a seven-inning baseball game between the Philadelphia Blue Sox and NYPD Finest. This special event at ARM & HAMMER Park is presented by Wawa.

Tickets to the game between the Blue Sox and NYPD Finest are available for $10 and all proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Survivors Fund. The Philadelphia Order of Police Survivors Fund is a non-profit organization that fundraises to provide financial assistance and support to the families of Philadelphia Police officers who have been injured or killed in the line of duty. The Survivors Fund was established not only to remember the sacrifice of each officer but also to acknowledge the sacrifice made by each of the surviving families.

Fans can purchase tickets to the game by clicking here or through the Philadelphia Franternal Order of Police by contacting Billy Killian at philabluesox@gmail.com or by phone at 267-688-7212.

Following the game, all fans will enjoy a special fireworks show at ARM & HAMMER Park.

Last season’s game raised more than $12,000 for the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Survivors Fund.
