As someone who watched the early seasons of Modern Family and then tuned out, there’s something very jarring to see the younger sister Ariel Winter become such a fully functional adult right before our eyes. But here she is, an 18-year-old woman graduating from high school, going into college (at UCLA, booooooo), and coming across as a very well rounded and generously spirited woman. Really just catches your eye when you see something like that. Heaving emotional growth, nothing better to see out of the youth of tomorrow. And as she enters the next stage of her life, she seems bursting with potential to offer the world around her, stretching the very fabrics of what a dedicated woman can achieve.
