Mauricio Ruffy Just Had A Flawless UFC Debut Where He Mauled Jamie Mullarkey In One Round

What a UFC debut for Mauricio Ruffy! Mauls a veteran like Jamie Mullarkey in just one round, throws on some Dudley Boyz nerd glasses, and calls out Islam Makhachev - have a night, Ruffy!

I like Jamie Mullarkey, and always have (he's a really exciting fighter always willing to put on a show and go out on his shield) - but Ruffy just demolished him and made him look like a sacrificial lamb. I mean - he truly kicked the shit out of him. Used his face for target practice for as long as the fight lasted. It was nasty.

Oh, and the Makhachev callout afterwards was ridiculous, yes, but it was apparently because Ruffy upset a fighter from the Nurmagomedov camp on Dana White's Contender Series last year to earn his UFC contract....

....and Makhachev was upset about that. Ruffy's just trying to make his way up the Dagestani Bloodline, I guess! Makhachev is Roman Reigns, Khabib is The Rock....

Anyway - be on the lookout for Mauricio Ruffy. Guy appears to be very legit.

P.S. Did I use the word "Maul" to describe this beating because it's May the 4th and I saw The Phantom Menace in theaters this morning for the 25th anniversary of its release?
