HOLY SHIT.

Can we talk about the night of basketball we had on Monday night? Well not so much ORL/CLE, but everything else? Incredible. Playoff basketball at it's finest and why it's the greatest sport on the planet. To go from all the chaos in the Knicks/Sixers game to what we just saw in Nuggets/Lakers, what else can you say other than holy shit.

The Lakers were up 20, they had been in complete control the entire night. LeBron and AD were getting whatever they wanted for the second straight game. This time DLo actually showed up and was making shots. It finally looked like the Lakers would snap their 9 game losing streak and even up this series at 1-1. This was their chance to make the defending champs sweat a little bit and put the pressure on with things going back to LA.

Instead, they blew it.

All of a sudden they couldn't score. Little by little the Nuggets chipped away, getting it to around 10 entering the 4th quarter. Once that happened anyone with a brain knew what was possible. You fucked around and gave Jokic and Murray a chance. Much like the Knicks win, this game's final minutes were pure chaos

How LeBron is able to do the shit we're seeing at age 39 makes no goddamn sense. I know we say that all the time but it's true. It should not be physically possible for him to be doing these things. Unfortunately, when it came time to hit that 3 in the final seconds, once it missed you knew the game was over.

This is the thing with the Nuggets. You have to BURY them. The minute you let them get a sliver of hope, it's enough. This is why they're the defending champs. Murray caught fire late, Jokic had another 20/20/10 and now the Nuggets are in the drivers seat up 2-0.

Unreal shot. Unreal game. Unreal night of basketball.
