Oklahoma State Cross Country's Sarah Stair Is The Newest Star In College Sports

I'm all about my numbies and when I saw that a post highlighting one of Oklahoma State's Cowgirl cross country stars had over a million views, it was right to the blogging lab I went. Meet Sarah Stair. Who is she? Well she finished tenth overall in the Big 12 Championships in the 2023 outdoors season and that's good enough for me. In a world full of Livvy Dunnes and Brylie St Clairs, it's good to highlight talent when it presents itself. Athletes are making careers off their social media presence and who am I to try and stop that from happening! Old Row Swig is already salivating at the staircase merch he can make for Sarah:

How this tweet originally went viral is that a Twitter page (seemingly) belonging to Mike Gundy's son Gunnar who was a QB at Oklahoma State that just entered the transfer portal got enticed to stay from Ms. Stair:

It took me about 37 seconds of journalistic research to find out that it's a parody page (against terms of service not to mention that by the way!!! Elon! Do something!) of his actual son:

I'd like to know what Oklahoma State fan has enough time to make a near 1:1 parody page of the coach's son who is a literal walk-on but funny is funny. Something about the coach's son deciding he's going to stay after entering the portal because an athlete named Sarah Stair is walking the campus is hilarious. Anyway, I didn't have any rooting interest in any cross country programs up until this point, but it's all Cowgirls cross country & track for me. And if I know anything about the Internet, it's that Sarah will have 50k followers and multiple NIL deals by the end of the month.

Business is business.
