We Had To Design A Whole Offense And Defense From Scratch
I had an Idea for a couple of schematic plays to put in to hopefully get some trick play touchdowns but I had no idea we would have to show up and design a whole offense and defense in 2 days that I turned into 3. It was a huge undertaking but we installed a bunch of base plays and took it from there.
The defense was another story because literally I had no idea what kind of offense Kenya ran and that means a lot when you are trying to design a defense. I mean do I have an overhang edge rusher or a man coverage outside linebacker? Look we got it situated. I may have had a panic attack on the field but those are lost in translation so only Donny knew that was happening. Players still had the utmost confidence.
I Picked Up An Accent (Kinda)

Look, I spoke normally and was coaching in fast American English I would probably sound like what a scouser Liverpudlian accent would sound like. Like if you have ever met a super Irish, Scottish, or anyone outside of London who speaks in their accents fast, you will have no idea what they are saying. The point is I was simply using phrases and spoke in their cadences. I felt like by doing that I was able to traverse dialect differences. So yes I absolutely deserve to be clowned. But I wouldn't have been able to communicate a full offense and defense in 3 days.
By the way, Donny gave me these glasses and I had no idea they were exactly the same as the ones in Blood Diamond. That was pretty sick.
Do As I Say Not As I Do
Yeah, I threw a pick in practice while trying to coach up George the QB, every time he threw the ball he needed to add touch, so while throwing a nice jump fade to a much taller WR, I realized the WR had never caught a fade ball so we had to drill that. So that is how that culminated in such a terrible toss.
