Caitlin Clark Is Now The All Time Leading Scorer In Women's College Basketball

What an absolute FLEX of a shot ! Just an absolute bomb of a shot ... logo shit. Absolutely perfect. All time way to break a record !

Even though the former record holder, Kelsey Plum,  prematurely congratulated Caitlin on the record a few days ago.

And then had to issue a "my bad"

It's official now … Cailtin Clark is the queen of scoring in all of women's basketball. Despite what completely misinformed old timers like Sheryl Swoopes did to try and tear down the record by trying to say things like covid year, and reclass etc …

Caitlin did this fair and square and in less time than Plum. Honestly, I thought Paige Bueckers was a big story a few years ago and obviously UCONN's womens team holds prestige in the sport with something like 48738932989 titles in the last 20 years, but what Clark has done for the women's game is remarkable. It's been two years of the men's game struggling to have a "face" of the game with the transfer portal and one and done's etc. On the Womens side, Clark has been the face of the game and the biggest story in the game overall. Everyone is trying to see her live, everyone's talking about her. Crowds are sold out, kids are buying jerseys and trying to be like her … she is without a doubt the biggest thing going in the game.

Although this season has had it's fair share of issues and headlines.

Hell even last year had headlines …

But regardless of which way you fall on the flop/no flop, or the rivalry with LSU it's pretty clear to see that what she has done is super impressive, and now that the women's record is in hand … two big questions remain :

1 - Can she bring Iowa home a title ?

2- Will she break Pistol Pete's record of 3667 points ?

The first one is easy …time will tell. The second seems like a near certainty also. She's got 4 regular season games left + the big ten and ncaa tournament . Entering tonight she was 178 away. Averaging 32.1 a game means just 5 games are needed. Which if you are doing the math means it may be time to get those Big 10 tournament tickets now …

If you somehow haven't watched she's a damn bucket. Watch thew highlights … just a machine.

Well deserved. And a good head on her shoulders too. Maybe her most impressive play this season was making sure the most delicious beverage on the planet doesn't go to waste.

Let's go live to my man Trent for a reaction :
