There's no other way to put it. Duke was handed a bullshit call because the game was in Cameron Indoor. Welcome to college basketball. But shout out Brad Brownell for saying exactly what it was. In case you missed it, here was the game-winning call, because refs are scared of dorks at Duke or people with no ties at Duke on the Internet. Tough to tell which one. 

Pathetic. That's what it is. I mean, can't be surprised, college refs are flat out awful at their job and Duke always seems to get this whistle at home. That's even what Brownell is saying. A little over a second on the clock and you bail this Duke team out? They still think K is on the sideline or something? The only thing that's as sad as college basketball refs is Scheyer playing dumb:

Oh, shut the fuck up. I was wondering when Scheyer would start to reach annoying. He's not K. He's this younger guy who just kinda has been there. That's the only way to sum up Scheyer. But now? This is him truly embracing Duke and fully realizing he is a prick with this stuff too. Just admit you got lucky. It's that simple. 

Brownell though? This is what we need more of from coaches. Call out this bullshit. It's the only way to hold shit refs accountable and only way to hold fake Duke fans accountable. Love to see Brownell actually have some balls and say what actually happened. Sad that Duke has fallen so far they rely on sorry officiating to win games at home.
