The #1 QB In The 2024 Class, Julian Sayin, Has Left Alabama To Commit To Ohio State And Their Apparently Unlimited NIL Funds

Holy fuck.....? How......? Why.......? But let me say this before I ask anymore questions: WE'LL TAKE HIM!

Here are some highlights from the #1 QB recruit in the country, who was all in on Alabama until Nick Saban left:

I guess I should be happier than I am right now, but I still can't get over how in shock I am that this kid chose to enroll at Ohio State. I mean, he's the #1 QB in the entire country. We already bought Will Howard from Kansas State to come start for us this season, and our 2024 recruiting class wasn't lacking at the position, as we already have the #5 QB, Air Noland, enrolled in school early. And if you think Air is going anywhere after this news.....think again:

Hey, if they all want to come in and compete with each other, I'm fine with that. At least we won't fall into the same trap we did this year where our entire quarterback room competition was a reenactment of the Southpark giant douche vs. turd sandwich episode. Now we've got more stars than the nights sky in that room. And I'm assuming it cost us a pretty penny, too.

How much do you think our Transfer Portal haul has cost us in the last few weeks? 10 mil? 20 mil?

My god, isn't she beautiful? But let me say this: I'm not bending over and giving Ryan Day anything pleasurable just yet like the rest of the internet appears to be. Are we the most talented team in the country? Yes. Does it appear we have solved whatever puzzle NIL is? Yes. Should we win every single game by double digits next year? Yes. BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY, Ryan Day has lost 3 straight times to Michigan, and the Wolverines won the National Championship on his watch. I'm glad it appears he has gone scorched Earth and won't let it happen again, but there is literally NOTHING he can do between now and Saturday, November 30th 2024 that will get me to compliment him. Beat Michigan and win a National Title and maybe I'll reconsider. But I'm not saying the dude is doing a good job because we're Paper Champs, or worse, Portal Champs.

I'm glad we got every single good player in the entire country on our roster, but there's still actual work to be done.
