Round 2 Of The Jimmy Kimmel-Aaron Rodgers Beef Has Commenced, With Kimmel Doing a 7 Minute Monologue About It And Rodgers Promising To Discuss On Today's McAfee Show

You may remember this clip from last week. I blogged about it and mentioned how much of a douche Kimmel had turned into over the years, emphasizing how hard he goes at people he doesn't like, on a nightly basis, on his national late-night show, and how thin his skin is anytime anybody goes after him.

Now granted, there's a stark difference between being called a "wack packer" (whatever that means), or "conspiracy theorist", and inferring somebody is a child molestor. Fair point there, and one that Kimmel focused on tonight on his show, during an almost 8-minute rant about how out-of-line he believed Rodgers was last week on Pat McAfee's show.

Hollywood Reporter - The host added, “[Rodgers] saw that and maybe… he decided to insinuate that I am a pedophile. This is how these nuts do it now. You don’t like Trump, you’re a pedophile. It’s their go-to move, and it shows you how much they actually care about pedophilia.”

Holding nothing back, Kimmel then described Rodgers as someone who typifies the Dunning-Kruger effect, a phenomenon where “people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities.” He continued, “Aaron Rodgers has a very high opinion of himself, because he had success on the football field, he believes himself to be an extraordinary being. He genuinely thinks that because God gave him the ability to throw a ball, he’s smarter than everyone else. The idea that his brain is just average is unfathomable to him, we learned during COVID.”

“[Rodgers] knows more about science than scientists. A guy who went to community college. Then got into Cal on a football scholarship and didn’t graduate, someone who never spent a minute, studying the human body is an expert in the field of immunology,” Kimmel said.

He continued, “Aaron got two A’s on his report card. They were both in the word Aaron, OK… That this hamster-brained man thinks he knows what the government is up to because he’s a quarterback, doing research on YouTube and listening to podcast.”

“Aaron Rodgers is too arrogant to know how ignorant he is,” Kimmel added. “They let him host Jeopardy! for two weeks. Now, he knows everything.”

God it must be awesome to have a team of people who make a lot of money to sit around and just think up funny and smart things for you to say and make yourself look funnier and smarter than you are all day. Imagine how fucking great that's gotta be?

There is 0.0000000000% chance Jimmy Kimmel has ever even read the words "the Dunning-Kruger effect" before. Never mind knows what it is.

Which makes it even bolder that while pretending to clinically diagnose Aaron Rodgers like he's memorized the DSM-5-TR, he doubled down by shitting on people who've attended community colleges.

“A guy who went to community college, then got into Cal on a football scholarship & didn’t graduate. Aaron Rodgers got two A’s on his report card, and they were both in the word, ‘Aaron’.”

Oh Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy…

Be more insecure. You can't. Try to come off more pretentious or patronizing. You can't.

This should all make for excellent television this afternoon when Rodgers is on McAfee's show.
