Kevin Hart Fired Another Shot At Katt Williams, This Time On ESPN, Making Fun Of Katt's Claim That He Was A Boy Genius And Read 3,000 Books A Year

I am officially ready to admit I am now confused. To preface, Katt Williams went on Shannon Sharpe's podcast and lit up anyone and everyone he had a grudge with. No one was off limits.

Then comedians came to the defense of Katt Williams character, saying anytime they were opening for him or on the road he always took care of them.

It also probably helped that there was what looks like CLEAR AS DAY evidence that both Steve Harvey and Cedric The Entertainer stole jokes just like he said.

I took all that information and felt like Katt Williams was officially a pretty stand up guy (pun not intended) and that his claims of theft and all this crap had some legs based on what people were saying. Then on a drive last night, I put on the first part of Shannon Sharpe's podcast and I'm back to square one being confused as shit.

On the podcast, Katt Williams claims he was a boy genious, accepted to college, read 3000 books a year, helped his family speak French when they went on vacations, and to top it off moved out of his house at 13 years old hitched a ride with a TRUCK DRIVER and went down to Florida where he lived on the streets but it doesn't stop there. He claims to have studied 8 hours a day at the library and then go steal car radios at night to survive. LOTTTTT to unpack there.

Kevin Hart has obviously responded, as well as Cedric The Entertainer (Pat recaps that all here). But Hart doubled down last night on ESPN's alternate coverage of a Knicks Sixers game where he was very clearly not believing Williams claims of being a boy genius and poking fun that he bought the Knicks, has a court in his house, and a spaceship.

I am so back to square one on this thing it's crazy. I was 100% on Williams side after seeing the video evidence and then comedians backing him up, but when I listened to this podcast I almost crashed my car. 3,000 BOOKS A YEAR AT 6 YEARS OLD ?!!?!?? How was this never documented like Hart says? Where did he sleep in Florida? The authorities never asked why a kid was by himself down there? He was a street vendor and they just let him operate no issues, no questions?

There's an awful lot of holes in this story and Kevin Hart 100% has a right to poke fun at that, on the other hand. The video evidence Williams talks about with the joke stealing is so clear and obvious it makes it like we should believe him. I also still put a lot of weight in the comedians backing him up with good guy stories. I don't know who to believe. Maybe the moral of this story is everyone lies to an extent. I'm also sure we're not done with the pot shots going back and forth.
