You knew that Trevor Zegras had to respond. A little "anything you can do, I can do better" type of thing. Just reminding the young lad to respect his elders.
Bedard first pulled off The Michigan just a few minutes into the 1st period against the Blues. There's no doubt in my mind that at some point during the 1st or 2nd intermission during Anaheim's game against Seattle, someone showed the clip to Zegras. It was his first game back since the beginning of November with a lower body injury, and all of a sudden there's some 18-year-old twerp trying to steal his shine. So a couple hours later, with just a few minutes left in the 3rd period, Zegras does this.
The toe ramp was so smooth, so casual. So damn filthy that it had to be a little personal. First game back in over a month, Trevor Zegras just needed to refresh everybody's memory. Trevor Zegras is the sheriff of the Silk Road.

By the way--both goals last night were scored in losing efforts. Makes you think. But that doesn't change the fact that the fellas were getting naughty in the National league last night.
