The People's Club: FC Copenhagen Gave All 30,000 Fans In The Stadium Free Beer To Celebrate Qualifying For The Champions League Round Of 16

[Source] - There were jubilant scenes at their Parken Stadium come the full-time whistle - made all the more wild in the stands by the announcement of complimentary post-match pints for all adults in attendance.

A message flashed up on the big screen which read: "Congratulations to all at FC Copenhagen. There is free beer and water for all on the way out."

This is how you do it. You want to celebrate getting out of the group stage in Champions League you have to reward the people that have been there for you. The fans. It doesn't matter the age or anything else. Free beer on the way out. I'll say it all the time, people love free shit. You ever get surprised with a free drink? You enjoy the hell out that. It's a nice little treat even if it saves you like $7 which you can 100% afford.

I need to know more about this giveaway though. Forget the water, that's just an essential to life. The beer, is it just one for everyoe to walk around with? It's nice having a roadie but can you grab 2. I mean look, they got out of a group with Bayern, Galatasary and Man U. That's deserving of multiple beers here. Also hilarious that Man U finished last in that group. A true shame.

This isn't the first time Copenhagen gave away some free beer:

This is a club who gets it. It's so easy to win over fans. You win games and/or you give away free beer. That's all it takes. I know you want to make a shit ton of money but you're already doing that in qualifying for the Round of 16.
