Kevin Garnett EXPLODING On Paul Pierce For Saying LeBron Isn't Top 5 In The League Currently Is An Unreal Video

All-time clip here from two great Celtics (the second best franchise of all-time behind THE Los Angeles Lakers). The major difference there is that KG has respect for the GOAT LeBron, even though he said Jordan was better all-time, while Paul Pierce is just yapping. I don't blame Paul Pierce for his generational level of hating on LeBron. I would be upset having to see LeBron thrive in Year 21 after he made your entire career hell. But respect to KG for getting over that and admitting that we're watching pure greatness. 

What we witnessed last night, and you can read my thoughts on it above, was nothing short of the makings of not only a top 5 current player, but the best of all time too. Context matters, and while AD looked like Prime Wilt out there, LeBron was indisputably the MVP of the entire Lakers team through an undefeated (!) run in the in-season tournament. That enough is to get you in the top 5 current players list, simply because when the lights were the brightest, he delivered in full. 

I saw a comment yesterday that I think was just stolen from Pardon My Take, but said LeBron did two things yesterday that Jordan never did: win an in-season tournament, and leave Vegas with more money than he came with. There's a couple unnamed bloggers here that would have published that and taken credit for themselves. But funny is funny.

I don't know what Dave has to do to get these guys on the network when their current deal ends, but his left arm has to be worth at least something in the open market. Maybe our dreams will one day come true. Time to go rewatch KG saying "I'm Lord first" over and over again while I wait for my in-season tournament banner and t-shirt to arrive in Manhattan.
