Finally answers to the hard-hitting news that the world needs. On Black Friday, Al Michaels hit us with this story:

Sounds incredible right? I mean this guy is your coach and he wants to dance with your girl, your hands are tied:

It'd be a big time power move if true. Hey, that girl is too good looking for you, let your coach step in. Stop dancing, rest your legs kid. This is Mike McDaniel's world. Except, one slight problem:

[Post] - “First of all, the perceived threat that I made to a player was over the top a joke, considering both he and I knew that as a running back coach I had no ability to say if he was there or not. It was more in jest,” McDaniel said. “And then second of all, my wife was telling me that people were talking about me stealing people’s girls. The dude had met her for 45 seconds.”

He added: “I think Steven Baylark, the player, was dancing with her, was well aware when I made that joke in jest, that it was more important to me than it was to him — and I’m pretty sure I was right. Right?

Best part about this all? We're not even talking NFL! This would have happened with the Sacramento Mountain Lions. I know what you're thinking and yes that's a real team. Makes the threat of a cut even funnier because it's the UFL. That said, I do wish McDaniel ran with the story. I know he probably doesn't want to seem like a douchebag - like he claims Al Michael made him sound - but it'd be way better if he was. This goofy guy who knows how to run an offense just stealing girls left and right. Granted, he married this girl, the point stands.

There's going to be a lot of blowouts in the NFL because there are so many shit teams, so we need Al Michaels and other announcers to come up with stories like this. Entertain me when we're watching some bum quarterback out there throw for 112 yards again. But let Mike McDaniel set the record straight. He's not a douchebag, he did not threaten to cut a player, he's just a sick dancer.
