Fact: The Only Reason Michigan Has Not Been Severely Punished Yet Is Because They Are Good

So we've known for a while now that the Big Ten has the power to step in and impose penalties to Michigan, and there has been more than enough evidence presented to show that there was an extreme violation of rules and blatant cheating, then the question must be asked why haven't they done ANYTHING? I'll tell you why: because Michigan* is 8-0 and in the National Championship hunt.

It's sad to see, but it's true: the Big Ten cares more about the potential playoff team* and potential National Champion* and potential revenue than doing the right thing. They're wrongfully and knowingly letting Jim Harbaugh, post confirmed cheating, continue to coach because they're having a good season. Jim Harbaugh* could walk down 5th Avenue and shoot somebody tomorrow and the Big Ten would let them finish the season first.

Now to some of you, I'm simply telling you that the sky is blue and the grass is green. This is such an obvious no-brainer as to why Harbaugh* was not suspended immediately that I shouldn't even have to say it. But to others (Michigan* fans and morons -- or is that redundant?), I'm sick and tired of you acting like this will be properly addressed, if at all, in the off-season. I know this is an opinion piece but here is a FACT: If this were ANYONE other than Michigan* or Ohio State, the coach would be indefinitely suspended by the Big Ten pending the outcome of an investigation, and they'd probably get fired at some point by their University.  People have been suspended and fired for far, far less. Just ask Jim Tressel. And the way Pat Fitzgerald went from supported to let go so quickly is another great example. But Harbaugh is withstanding smoking gun after smoking gun, and I just don't see how the Big Ten is allowing it to happen with a straight face.

The fact of the matter is there is such a preponderance of PUBLIC evidence:

- Big Ten ticket history

- Venmo Receipts

- Stalions LinkedIn saying he "employs military tactics into scouting"

- Pictures on the sidelines of him with laminated signs of other teams

- Text messages from Stalions

- Videos like this:

- Finally beating Ohio State

- TCU hanging 50 on them when they didn't "scout" them

etc, etc, etc etc….to show that not only was Michigan* cheating but Harbaugh* knew exactly what was going on. So how in the actual fuck are we still letting him coach? He should be suspended (FOR THE SECOND TIME THIS SEASON) immediately. You think Tom Allen or Bret Bielema would be coaching this weekend if it were already proven that they knowingly ran the most egregious cheating scandal the sport has seen in a decade? No, not a chance. But they're coaching 2-6 and 3-5 football teams. The Big Ten won't make any money off them this year.

But there is simply no way that in the year 2023 that we're "waiting for the investigation to conclude" before intervening, if at all. Nope, not these days. That's not how the world works anymore, like it or not. When did we go back to an innocent until proven guilty society? He should be placed on an immediate suspension UNTIL the investigation concludes. But wait, HE'S ALREADY BEEN PROVEN GUILTY!!!

But then again, they're 8-0 and #2 in the country so all common sense goes out the window. Spineless Tony Petitti and the dopey Big Ten is going to sit on their hands until they determine that this cash cow that could be a playoff team** is either in or out.  But if Michigan* loses at Penn State? Harbaugh* will be suspended. You mark my words.
